Founded by a team of expert IB alumni, in 2020, our mission is to empower students to achieve academic excellence and develop a lifelong passion for learning. We understand the unique challenges and opportunities presented by the IB curriculum, and we are committed to helping our students excel in this rigorous academic program.
Our tutors are handpicked for their expertise in the IB subjects and their ability to inspire and motivate young minds. We require all tutors to provide their CV, proof of IB Diploma or equivalent transcripts. Our rigorous interview process includes testing applicants' knowledge of subjects and exam techniques. We also provide training to our incoming tutors in terms of our proven best methods for conducting sessions as well as guidance on how to coach students to achieve success. Our team is comprised of committed high achievers who want to provide students with the support they wish they had access to during the IBDP.

Our Founders
Our founders, Sabrina Ciauri and Tiago Costa, began their tutoring journey by providing support to London-based international schools across a range of subjects. Sabrina and Tiago's individual expertise within humanities, science and university applications, led them to build a community of parents and students as well as passionate tutors and coaches. Since 2020, IB 45s has been growing internationally with sessions taking place in most time zones, across 16 countries.
Sabrina is a British-American citizen born in Australia, who attended international schools in both Dublin and London. She graduated from Halcyon London International School and is now currently undertaking her Master's in Global Management at LSE after graduating from UCL in Politics & International Relations.
Tiago is a Brazilian-Italian-British citizen who attended international schools in Milan and London.
He graduated from International Community School in London and attended the University of Bath studying International Management. Tiago has worked for the Walt Disney Company 2022 and is now working in sales technology.
